President and Managing Shareholder
Farley Vener leads Hinkle + Landers, PC as the President and Managing Shareholder. Farley Vener has over 23 years of public accounting experience and specializes in assurance and consulting services for businesses, non-profit organizations, and government entities. Farley also holds the CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) designation, which he has maintained since 2004.
For the past decade, Farley has focused heavily on the improvement of fraud prevention and detection in organizations, which Hinkle + Landers, PC has incorporated into our audit and consulting services.
Farley also heads the audit, consulting and assurance services team, which provides audits, consulting and other assurance to a wide variety of not-for-profit organizations; commercial entities; state, county, municipal and other government agencies; educational institutions; tribal governments; homeowners’ associations; employee benefit plans, and health centers. Farley is currently an active board member of the New Mexico Public Board of Accountancy.
A graduate of the University of New Mexico, Farley’s higher education included not only accounting but a degree in marketing management as well. Prior to his career as an accountant and auditor, Farley obtained his securities license and worked as an investment advisor. He is licensed through the State of New Mexico as a CPA and also holds a separate license as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), which signifies a level of education, experience, and expertise in strategically partnering across businesses and departments to develop optimal financial solutions.
Farley’s professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants, the New Mexico Society's Peer Review Committee, the Association of Governmental Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
